We organized the first Turkey Days in 2003 in the center of Debrecen. Since, it has become the greatest gastronomical festival in the region. Thousands of people participate in the programs of the two day event organized at the Kossuth square and the streets of the city center. Besides the culinary delights there are pop and classical music concerts, gypsy music, street theater, puppet-show, kid’s programs, fair, folklore and craftmen’s fair to entertain you. Not only the professional, but also the amateur cooks can cook something delicious in the main square of Debrecen. There are valuable prizes to win on both days. Besides the juries, the public can also taste the food of the competitors by buying a tasting ticket. Year after year we make a record sized lunch in the main square of Debrecen and the atmosphere is unique thanks to the great music.
